Aug, 2008 Elizabeth Stoiber

The Bedford Community Foundation YAC will be much different next year without Elizabeth. After serving for 8
Stoiber years, she is a veteran leader who has helped incoming YAC members learn about philanthropy and is a youth representative on the community foundation's Board of Trustees. Recently, she volunteered more than 150 hours as a lead host for her community's annual Relay for Life 24 Hour Walk. Her involvement included logistical event planning, coordinating the dunk tank and even clean-up crew. This work further demonstrates Elizabeth's commitment to servant leadership. Congratulations, Elizabeth!

"He is never afraid to question the merits and potential benefits and risks of a particular grant request, and he frequently causes his peers to consider grant requests more thoroughly, often from a different point of view," says Brent's YAC advisor. Brent says that "giving out grants has taught me how to keep a budget and how to use money efficiently." He is most certainly an asset to his YAC and community. Congratulations Brent!
