This free bi-annual event hosted by the Council of Michigan Foundations, is an opportunity for YAC Advisors to come together and discuss pressing issues that affect their work with Youth Advisory Councils. At this year’s Spring YAC Advisor Gathering, the Michigan College Access Network will be introducing a curriculum for YACs around college access and what they can do to create a college positive community.
Registration for this event will be open soon!
The Council of Michigan Foundations Orientation Toolkit for YAC Advisors was a resource created to assist Advisors in conducting orientation for their respective youth advisory councils. Within this toolkit, advisors are provided with various resources that will assist them in adequately covering various pieces of information that students, parents and board members need to know about the YAC.
