Spring 2012 YAC Advisor Gathering

This free bi-annual event hosted by the Council of Michigan Foundations is an opportunity for YAC Advisors to come together and discuss pressing issues that affect their work with Youth Advisory Councils.  This year’s Spring YAC Advisor Gathering was held on Monday, May 14th, 2012 at the Ramada Hotel & Conference Center in Lansing. This event served as a great networking opportunity for advisors to learn about the exciting programs and projects that young people around the state are doing. In addition to learning about our partnership with the Michigan College Access Network to create college positive communities throughout the state, we had open space for advisors to discuss successes and challenges that they are experiencing.
