Creating a diverse and inclusive Youth Advisory Council not only enhances the experience of the members that serve on the committee, but affect their grantmaking practices as well. These resources are designed to emphasize the importance of diversity management competencies and inclusive practices to YAC groups. Therefore, the activities are designed for learning about diversity management and inclusion to occur through inquiry, reflection and application.
YAC Toolkit for Diversity and Inclusion- The Council of Michigan Foundations YAC toolkit for Diversity and Inclusion was a resource created to assist Youth Advisory Councils in exploring the different aspects of diversity in order to make them more effective grantmakers.
