Recruitment

Effective recruitment strategies are essential to ensuring your YAC members are responsible and capable individuals that accurately represent the diversity of youth in your community. The Michigan Community Foundations Youth Project Committee recommends that each YAC have a minimum of 12 members between the ages of 12 and 21 on their YAC and that the YAC members represent the wide-ranging forms of diversity found within the local youth community.
